Are there logs we can look at to see how a user created an account?

We would like to know how users are creating their spam accounts so we can stop them. We have been unsuccessful so far.

You might look into the admin interface and see what login methods are used in the "UserAssociation".

What helps controlling spam: 1) enable forced email validation. 2) enable content premoderation. Spammers usually mostly give up then.
