How about some responsibility to go along with the power of moderator? Maybe users should be able to post messages (requests for some action) to moderators, either through the askbot site itself, or as email (this could be done without revealing the moderator's email, right?).

Or does this functionality already exist?

there is "give feedback" function, but email goes to admin only. Maybe moderators should be on CC list as a cheap solution?

Comments

That sounds like a good idea; perhaps along with it, the standard FAQ could be updated to recommend using "give feedback" to notify admins/moderators about abuses, etc. niles ( 2010-09-21 11:32:22 -0500 )edit
