I would like the ability to export a single HTML page (kind of like a "format for printing") containing the Question, comments and all answers (and comments) so it could be saved as a static html page.
This page could then be saved locally. This could be used to "store" content off-line.
An extension of this would be the ability to export all the currently listed questions (after tag filter/search filter) as a static page. Same as the above, but containing multiple Q & A in a single page.
Update
Another possibility is to add a manage.py command to create a "Static Snapshot" of the site with a table of content... i.e. a collection of pages with the same/similar URL that could be stored in a tgz file which could be downloaded to a user's machine.
Kind of like a "wget" dump of the site (but with a Table of Content as index.html).
This could be run as a weekly cron job to create a static dump that users could carry on their laptops.
