In the "interesting" or "ignore" tag boxes, it would be useful to have the ability to use the * wildcard to ignore all the tags matching the criteria.

For example, if I had a list of tags like: linux-ubuntu, linux-ubuntu-9.1, linux-ubuntu-9.2, linux-redHat, ...
I would like to ignore all the ubuntu distros, I could use "linux-ubuntu*" as an ignore tag, instead of having to specifically select the individual tags.

Any new tags created would also be filtered (i.e. I a new linux-ubuntu-10.1 tag is created after)

This can be done - the * character is not allowed in the tags so the wildcard matching can be seamlessly added to the ignored tags interface. Evgeny ( 2010-12-09 17:59:45 -0500 )edit
