When someone enters a comment, if you press the enter key, the comment is posted.
Users unfamiliar with comments tend to try to use enter to break the line up, and this causes an incomplete comment to be posted.

Is there a way to change this to <enter> doesn't post the comment?
Should this be a configurable option? Some site might prefer this post on <enter> behavior.

Will add an option, I think it's better to have a choice than force one way or another. I like being able to save comment on enter, especially because all comments are single paragraph (which may ask for another option). Evgeny ( 2011-02-02 23:47:34 -0500 )edit
I agree that an option is the way to go. Benoit ( 2011-02-03 10:20:23 -0500 )edit
The default setting is "True" - because the comments are single paragraph and the linebreak is not needed. Also comment editor listens to <Esc> key - to exit. Evgeny ( 2011-02-03 16:54:05 -0500 )edit

Me also click "ever" enter to go on other line so i'd need to change this parameter :)

This can be removed, it was actually a feature added on purpose. Apparently not everyone likes it.

The thing is that right now comments only accept one paragraph but I'll remove "Enter" handler.
