I tried putting links in a comment in the ask.sagemath.org site using the standard markdown syntax [text](http://url.com/) but it consistently failed. I also tried using basic html, which also failed.
I know that a url is automatically turned into a link, but that's not what I really want.
Since I don't have the reputation to test a comment here, I'll just ask the question:
How do you create links in a comment?

Yeah, that would be great. Also being able to upvote comments would be nice, ala http://mathoverflow.net/. Why is this a larger font?
