incorrect email filtering

I've gotten reports of too many emails coming into users filtering based on tags. http://answers.ros.org/question/238/correct-settings-for-rosanswers-email

Ok, will look into test cases. Correctness of email alerts so far has been the hardest problem! There are very many combinations of settings to test.

@Benoit, do you have this issue on your site? I know you use the "only selected tags" filter for your users.

The only oddity I have seen is a few times someone has no interesting tags set, but they still get the occasional email.

I have setup my account to onlly email "entire forum" "instant" "only selected tags" and I have 3 tags selected. I'm getting emails with unrelated tags. Out of the 60 questions I've been emailed by askbot a quick read through suggests that 6 of them match my tag queries. Most are completely unreleated.

Signed up like you on answers.ros.org - getting many emails on comments, even though I do not have a single interesting tag. Do you get emails on questions or answers as well?

Please give a shot to the latest version - available both at github and PyPi.

The getter function for the subscribers on instant notifications for the comments did not have a tag filter, added now.

Initial tests with 0.6.74 show that at least 1 correctly went through and one was correctly filtered out.

Ok, seems like there is a chance that it works. I will turn on my instant subscription again (killed it after a few hundred spam messages :). Btw, I met someone from your community at the poster section, unfortunately I did not even ask what is his name - I am pretty bad sometimes in real-time communication, especially when there are 5 or so people talking at once.
