Is it possible to view the difference between two edits (like on online code repositories and elsewhere) of a question or response on Askbot? Currently it's not easy to tell what might have changed.

Yes you actually can, but the link is not obvious - if you click on "updated " next to the last updater avatar you will get to the history of the post.
