In looking at almost all the questions on this forum and on similar forums of this type, it is obvious that there tend to be more comments than answers to any question. Most times, the ratio is not even close.
But the comments have no impact on the position of a question on the front page. It would be nice if comments bump a question to the front page just as an answer would, because a comment tends to also provide an answer to a question.
What do you guys think?
I think it's better to convert best comments into answers and develop more quality in the content of the answers.
Current dev version does support conversion of comments to answers. We'll be adding more core knowledge management features like this one in the future.
