Where did smooth color transitions go on counters?
The view, answer and vote counters used to be colored with smooth transitions - where did they go?

They took too long to render on the server - extra 200 ms just to paint the colors on 30 questions, so I took them out.
Maybe there will be a simplified fast replacement of that or some css hack. One option is to do it on the browser via javascript of course.
