RFE: Publish messages to django signals system when badges are awarded to users
 
   
  
 
 
Would it please be possible to publish messages to the django signals system when Ask badges are awarded to users.  This makes it convenient for third party plugins to consume those events and do fun things. 
 
For instance, we'd like to hook up with our implementation of openbadges: tahrir. 
 
We use the askbot-fedmsg plugin to hook up to django signals: https://github.com/fedora-infra/askbot-fedmsg
