not possible to upload image in question or answer textboxes?

when i tried to upload a picture in ask question or add answer text box it show error:

Error uploading file. Please contact the site administrator. Thank you.

This issue is most likely caused by the directory where the files are uploaded not being writeable by the web server process. Compare effective user of the web server process with user or group owners and corresponding permissions on the directory listed as MEDIA_ROOT (within your settings.py file).
