I have an Askbot set up via http://askbot.com - http://mcmcclur.askbot.com. Is it possible for me, as the site administrator, to reset a user's password if, for example, they forget theirs?
There is no function for the administrator to set the password to a specific value, but the users should recover their account via email.
Go to the login page -> click "recover account", enter their email address and proceed. Then visit the account recovery link. That link logs the user in and land them on the login page where they can either change the password or establish a different login method.
