new spellchecker?

I have LO 4.3.0.4 on win 7. Would like to use my 640k sized Tagalog.dic (Philippine - text entries as by standard dics.) created under Win XP, but as soon as I tick it to be used, it says dic is full and is not used as spellchecker. If I use it without the first few lines (OOoUserDict1 lang: <none> type: positive---) LO overwrites it. My text file is 2198 pages long to be checked and I don't want to do it all again in a new dictionary. And how do I change the max. allowable size? Help Mike</none>
