Does this Q & A software have the same the same specific function as Yahoo Answers?  Users must have a certain amount of points from contributing by answering questions in order for them to Ask Questions.  Users are not allowed to ask question until they have reached a certain amount of points.  5 points are deducted each time a user answers a questions.
 
 
To enter a block of code:
 
     
  • enter empty line after your previous text
    •  
  • paste or type the code
    •  
  • select the code and press the  button above
    •

Askbot works differently. An administration interface allows you to set various "karma" thresholds for various actions. In the standard setup, any user can ask and answer questions, but things like posting a hypertext link require more karma.
