How to delete a question

Is there any standard amount of karma needed to delete a question, or must one be a moderator? Is there a set number of down votes (standard, I mean) to remove/delete/close a question? I'm just asking about defaults here, though my particular use case is ask.sagemath.

Hi, deleted posts are shown to authors and highlighted to mark as deleted. There is no tool yet to completely delete posts, but there will be. I will check your site next week and upgrade it too.

Also - please flag it many times, the question should go away.

Followup - I often see comments written by other people (ones they have deleted) in my message box as well. Is that okay to ask here too? Followup # 2 - how many times would it need to be flagged? These things should be in standard documentation, preferably the default FAQ.

Yes, I agree regarding the documentation. On your site it takes five flags to take down the post.

Followup - if I close a question, can people then no longer flag it to delete it? See our site - five spams in the last few hours - for why I'm asking again :(

Yes there are bugs in the question, when it's status is closed, will look at this.

For now - please try reopening the question and then clicking "delete", do you have that function accessible?
