Active Directory authentication

Is Active Directory supported as an authentication method?

This would be very useful as we're using it on a corporate network.

If not, then some pointers on how to add it would be helpful!

Hi there, starting version 0.6.93 askbot supports custom login backends and applications.

According to info on http://djangopackages.com/grids/g/authentication/ an app called django-ldap-groups supports Active Directory, maybe you can try that?

Meanwhile I will see how to add active directory support to askbot.
