ask questions anonymously without any login?
It seems Askbot doesn't support this. Would be a useful feature to have. One could use a captcha to avoid spammers

Yes, this feature is implemented. In Settings->Data Entry... there's a checkbox for it. haven't tested if it works myself.

Actually, no it requires login, it is not fully anonymous, even though identity of the author is not shown to anyone.
I like how it works in stack overflow now. I am trying to keep the barrier to entry very low and this would a good option I think
Did this ever get added? I don't want all my users having to sign up to post...
