Where do deleted questions go?
Hello,
If I delete a question, it becomes immediately invisible from lists. But its permalink can be used to view it again.
What is the expected way of deleting questions? As an admin, how would I observe what moderators are deleting and possibly undo that?

Oh, that's interesting; even though the question is deleted, you can still link to it if you know the URL?
@todofixthis, yes.
Also we do get undelete option as well.
If we open that link, we do get undelete option as well. The search finds deleted entries too.
Probably it's a bug. The deleted question should not be visible to most people even via permalink.
@Evgeny, I do hope this is a bug. Also, can OP delete his own question? Wouldn't that hold back participants to engage in future? It should be a moderator task.
Users can delete own questions, never heard of this being the problem.
@Evgeny, If you follow stackoverflow model, a user will not be able to delete his question if that: - has an upvoted answer or, - has multiple answers (even if there are no upvotes), or - has been closed less than 48 hours ago (to allow for possible reopening) http://meta.stackoverflow.com/questions/5221/#5222
Time is precious. When you are helping someone with your time, you normally won't like to see it wasted. That's what I'm saying.
