Adding Facebook Like button to homepage

I see a fb-like box in askbot.org But on setting page I dont see any thing about fb-like.

How can I add fb-like and other socials on my home page so that user can like or +1 or follow my site?

Just add the code snippet for the "like" button to the main page sidebar.
