Notice this works. I believe that this does not work at the beginning of an answer, and so will answer this question to test it. If it works, that just means I need to upgrade my askbot install; otherwise consider this a question/bug report.

Is it possible to view the difference between two edits (like on online code repositories and elsewhere) of a question or response on Askbot? Currently it's not easy to tell what might have changed.

I think that's a great question for askbot in general, though my guess is that the answer is you can't and won't be able to.

Or at least it seems odd that there is no one on this site, nor on ask Sage math, who has earned it.

If you click in a comment, then realize you don't want to write a comment but rather an answer, nonetheless trying to use the keyboard shortcut (Mac is Command-L) to add a link adds it back in the comment. Indeed, the same is true for highlighting, and anything else that uses a keyboard shortcut! Why is the focus for that not on the answer?

Is there any place to hard code in the minimum karma needed to post a question? There doesn't seem to be anything in the admin interface, at least. Or would one have to create a new object ala this question?

This still doesn't seem to work right, though Sage's installation is slightly outdated, I think.

Is there any standard amount of karma needed to delete a question, or must one be a moderator? Is there a set number of down votes (standard, I mean) to remove/delete/close a question? I'm just asking about defaults here, though my particular use case is ask.sagemath.

It would be really nice to be able to sort by number of answers, and then to sort within that by date. Or alphabetically. Or whatever one wanted. I don't think this is currently possible. (Yes, ask.sagemath is old, but even the new http://askbot.org/en/questions/scope:all/sort:answers-asc/ syntax doesn't seem to support a second sort, upon naive attempts.)

I can't do it. I can delete them before they're closed by someone else. But the link to delete is still there.
