Our gmail users don't get any email notifications. The Error I get is:

Our system has detected an unusual rate of 421-4.7.0 unsolicited mail originating from your IP address.

When I send email from the shell to gmail it works, see "servexpert.blogspot.ch/2011/10/postfix-recipient-based-rate-limiting.html". I also added throttling for gmail users from postfix. The dns also has a SPF record.

Could I change the FROM part of the email for all outgoing emails? Currently it uses the email address from the sender. I would prefer to have always the same sender email, so that I could eliminate this potential cause for the problem. Couldn't find anything in the doc. It's a private askbot forum.

any clue?
