The first user created will have admin privileges so just use the password for that account.

2016-04-24 16:03:29 -0500 answered a question Does askbot can invite somebody to answer a question?

Not explicitly but you can try mentioning that user with @username which should trigger the email notification (depending on his/her settings)

2016-04-24 16:03:28 -0500 answered a question Reset Password

The easiest way would be to install some email server like postfix and put the details into settings.py. When you try to send the reset-password-email you can see it in your mail.log and retrieve the url.

2016-04-24 16:03:27 -0500 asked a question Changing widgets

Hello,
I tried to change a widget (footer.html) by adding some buttons.
Unfortunately it wont show up when loading the page.
It seems like some kind of caching is happening but I can't seem to find it. I restarted the server, flushed memcached and rebuilt the python files and even cleared the browsercache as well as rebuilding the static files with collectstatic, still nothing.

Any idea what I might have forgotten here?

P.s.: I am running Askbot v0.10.1
