Confused between OSQA and Askbot

I'm confused which Q&A system should I use? Askbot or OSQA. Both look good to me. Both have the same features. Is there any feature which is there is OSQA and not in Askbot? Let me know.

Also which one is easy to install on a hostgator server (with baby plan), which one is being more contributed by developers? Which one is more SEO friendly?

Not really giving an answer - because I am on the Askbot team, and will be biased. As far as I know there are maybe very few features that are in OSQA but not in Askbot, but there are many in Askbot that are not in OSQA.

Regarding the installation on ultra-cheap shared servers (if that's what you have currently) - frankly I can't advise I would use VPS with root access at least for any Python web app.

Okay. Will it not work on shared server? (Note that since the website is new so there will be less visitors, if they increase I'll move to VPS).

Neither is guaranteed to work on a shared server - they all have variety of rules of what can or cannot be done on the server and it's impossible to give advice for them and very hard to find reliable advice on using them. Shop around for decent VPS hosting. If you use something more like platform as a service provider - like webfaction - ask them for advice.

OK. BTW I can see that OSQA's last blog post was in 2011, are they not active now? If not then I can't consider them. http://www.osqa.net/2011/03/22/osqa-fantasy-island-beta-3-1-0-just-around-the-corner/

@Evgeny: Is askbot not free? Will I have to pay after 30 days? I see on homepage that it says "Try it for 30 days free". What will happen after 30 days?
