Private messages in AskBot or How to make a community a community..?
Hello,
I saw that there are already questions about private messaging here and here.
The questions are few years old and as we can read there was some work done.
Is private messaging finished or will it be implemented?
I think we could use this thread to collect all thoughts of how to make Askbot more a community CMS.
I'm sure that everyone except stackoverflow has the same problem, that Q&A is harder to build community than a forum, because of no communication between users.
There is no real option to make offtopic discussions, which users love. -> probably something like subforum for discussions for "to come to know each other"
How to make it more attractive?
