How does askbot support multiple tenants?

It looks like Askbot supports multiple tenants (see the askbot hosting plan from "pricing"), but I don't see the open source code base supporting multiple tenants features. Is is something askbot team implemented as secret source, which is committed as open source project effort?

Askbot hosting does contain software that we did not open source, however it is not part of Askbot.

We are hosting 100% the same Askbot software as available at github, although the hosted version is a bit behind. Askbot itself does not support multitenancy.
