Cannot enter "chmod" in questions and answers
 

For some reason, when trying to include "chmod" followed directly by a space and "u+x" or "771" etc, the askbot engine gives an error.

What change in Askbot introduced this problem? Can this problem be fixed?

To enter a block of code:

  • enter empty line after your previous text
  • paste or type the code
  • select the code and press the button above

This error is caused due to incorrect permissions provided to Apache / NGINX web server that leads to 500 error. This is not an AskBot error...

To enter a block of code:

  • enter empty line after your previous text
  • paste or type the code
  • select the code and press the button above
