Is there a plan to use transifex.net?

In case, you are not aware, https://www.transifex.net/ is a portal that allows translators to submit translations via a web UI and you can setup transifex to directly commit to your git repository. It is extensively used by a large number of open source projects including several Django modules and Django itself. Something for you to consider.

hmm, thanks! I have heard of transifex, but did not know that it can talk to the git repo. Yes it is a very good idea.

registering at transifex now, btw there is a bug with uploaded avatars when user name is multiword, will fix this asap.

actually, someone added askbot to the TX system already, four days ago :). I'll see what I can do to connect it to the repo.

If you need any help, let me know. Transifex originally started as a Fedora Google summer of code project and we are in touch with the developers and use it in Fedora extensively

Registered at the site and requested the team, now waiting for the boss to respond. Turns out it is actually someone I know, met at PyCon this year in Atlanta.
