How is my identity protected if I ask a question anonymously?

It is not shown to anyone, however there is a bug currently that I will fix today - that in the email alert your identity is revealed.

Will update here once the bug is fixed.

Administrators of the site who have access to the database can see who is posting anonymously, nobody else can.
