Rationale behind rep cap on questions and answers?
In the section explaining upvoting, downvoting and reputation, there is the following quote:
There is a limit of 200 points that can be accumulated per question or answer.
If I understand it correctly, this is not the daily reputation cap, but means a cap on every individual question or answer. Is that correct? What is the rationale behind this? Was this inherited from OSQA?
