Also what is in the end of file log/askbot.log?

edit: thanks. I've made a small change in the master branch of the repository that will get rid of that error, this error does not show on my installations so I think it is system-specific. Give a try to the newer version, I hope there are no other incompatibilities like that.system-specific.

I think it that is system-specific.specific to your database and maybe mysql-python version installed on Windows.
