Is the Askbot project at this point interested in Template contributions?
I can't promise anything right now but it could be that a neutral template "spins off" during the work on the project I want to use Askbot for.
Hi Pekka, sure if you make a new skin, we'll add it to the collection.
I hate to make the answer sound complicated, but since templates are not yet "stabilized" (that is id, class names, variable and template tag usage not yet frozen) - there will be some maintenance overhead associated with custom templates.
But it will not be a huge deal - I will be alerting people on twitter and here.
Have templates been stabilized yet? I've been thinking about putting together a Bootstrap-based theme...
I think we will be using bootstrap, I like it for the good implementation of control elements. Our skin have not yet stabilized to support branching into new versions. It's been long time, I know. We could probably stabilize templates page by page, then those pages could be re-styled on the level of HTML. There is no problem to re-style the css files at this time.
