Empty box on login page if only local login is enabled

On my hosted Askbot site, I have only local login enabled in my "Login provider settings".

When I visit the login page, I notice that there is an empty box at the top (where the OpenID provider buttons would normally appear):

Local Login Only

Empty box on login page

Local Login or OpenID Providers

Login page with OpenID provider button visible.
