I am unable to post my question because I don't have enough Karma and link contains the key to the problem. So please check my problem here. Basically, I get non-English posts in English feed.

I am subscribed to Ask Fedora feed using the link below.

ask.fedoraproject.org/en/feeds/rss Removed http because I am not allowed to post links.

Seeing that en I would expect it be the English language feed but I regularly receive non-English posts in my RSS reader.

Am I using the wrong feed? Is it a bug in Askbot?

Do you see any demand for such an endeavor? Do you hear from users who would want and Android application? How much work are we talking about messing up with APIs to get 1.0 of a working Android application?

I am looking into working on an Android application for Askbot forums. I have a few questions.

  1. Is it possible to build commercial application over Askbot? It seems I will have to GPLv3 if I make any changes to Askbot but my application doesn't have to under GPLv3. Is that correct?
  2. I couldn't find any information regarding how to access information (Q&A) from Askbot deployed sites. Are there any APIs?

Basically, when I receive Askbot posts in my RSS reader they are a big blob of text without any html formatting.

I reported the issue to theoldreaderdeveloper and replied with following statement.

It doesn't appear that they provide any formatting in their RSS feed at all. If you take a look at their RSS source, you can see it does not contain any HTML formatting for most of the posts.

Is there anything could be done to improve this situation? The domain in concern is ask.fedoraproject.org.
