I'd like an option where I could get all new posts (or optionally all new posts and replies) via email. Replies would show up threaded under the original question. Then, I could reply to these emails. Replies to questions show up as questions. Replies to answers show up as comments. It would be nice to interact with AskBot via email and/or Web, just as Google Groups supports both interfaces. I think this feature would also make AskBot a wider used product, as there are many people on mailing lists who prefer email, and could continue therefore continue to use email to support their users, but the users could have an option of a more modern interface. |
