2012-08-23 22:24:16 -0500 | answered a question | Answer does not appear if the user does not exist Ok, well I don't know what causes the bug itself but I found a solution that worked for me. Get to the regular Django admin page for your forum (not the special adminstrator page) by typing its url then /admin/. Then click on 'Posts', and find the missing posts. From there, you can manually assign a parent post (it seems to be missing), or just copy and paste the text into a 'new' answer. |

2012-08-16 01:58:12 -0500 | commented question | Answer does not appear if the user does not exist I have the same problem - I set up a 30-day trial for Askbot for my constraint programming class to use as a forum - teacher answered a question, then logged in - but the answer doesn't show. Even worse, the question has answers=1 and the teacher is no longer allowed to post his answer, as the system thinks he has already done so. However, there is definitely no answer showing! Any ideas? |
