Content intended to be anonymous is not 100% anonymized

When asking anonymous question the user name is not displayed in the question? But if this user has commented or asked question on other places his activity list includes the anonymous questions he has asked. So in effect asking anonymous question is rendered useless since the identity of the person asking the question is already public and this question is listed in users activity.

This is true, we need to look closer into this, also email alerts include persons name, even when the contribution is made anonymously.

I would just suggest remove the anonymous from the list until its ready. This way at least users know they need to register before answering or asking questions.

You can disable the feature in the settings->"Data entry and display" section. I agree it is better not to have half-baked features.

Yes, and in the RSS feeds they are also not anonymous. I think you may want to remove this feature for now - at least you could ask the ask.sagemath.org folks if they want it removed.

Similarly, the person who has made the anonymous question has also put few tags on it. And if you search on users' profiles to see if these tags are included in their posted tags, you can find who asked the anonymous question (in a system with many users this is a lot of search, but still he could get uncovered). And the more unique these tags are, the closer you come to find the anonymous person.

PS. Sorry for posting this as an answer, I don't have enough karma to add it as a comment :)
