how to attach other file types apart from images

Does askbot support attachment of other files apart from images, I'm trying to attach a document to a post and it doesn't work, any suggestions

Define "doesn't work". Do you get an error message? Does it just fail silently? Can you post a screenshot?

Add values to ASKBOT_ALLOWED_UPLOAD_FILE_TYPES variable in your settings.py to allow upload of other file types.

Hi Jason, please tell me which files you want to allow. We will enable this on the backend. In the next version we'll add a setting that you can control. Thanks!

Could you please update the answer with how this setting can be controlled now? Was it added to the web UI?
