I would like to change the help page text. (myAskbot.com/help). How can I do that? I was able to change faq and about page, but not help page.

Where can I change it?

Just executed the cleanup, from more than 7000 rows, it was reduced to +- 3500

Actually I am concerned with row numbers. I will check the number of rows and delete them periodically :) Could you please give me the name of this table?

My database is reaching the 10.000 rows capacity for Heroku free database. That is kind of strange because I have only 10 users and 7 questions. Yesterday I had a massive number of visits, but only 1 new question.

I imagine that there are some logging rows or some kind of temporary information stored in the database to create this number of new rows. Is there something I could erase periodically to free space in the database?

Sorry, I can't download the latest because I am using an heroku doeployment. Im using an old version from @rodelrod "putsches". I tried to deploy the newest version called "askbot-Heroku" but I couldn't get it to work fast using the DB I had from the previous version

I'm sorry, but I can't find the "manage login methods". Is there in the admin or settings page?

I have a user registered in my website which is the administrator. It uses myopenid to login, but since yesterday myopenid is down. Now I cannot log in into my website (but I can use browsers where I was already logged in). Is there any way to associate any other type of account (it could also be an account specific to my website) with this user?

When I try to save a user in the /admin/ area I get this error:

update or delete on table "auth_user_groups" violates foreign key constraint "authusergroups_ptr_id_refs_id_695c01d17902b95c" on table "askbot_groupmembership" DETAIL: Key (id)=(1) is still referenced from table "askbot_groupmembership".

I ran the DB migration and everything as expected. Any ideas how could I fix it? It is running on heroku and postgres.

I will wait some time to check if it is cache. I don't know if the app should affect the sharing, since it is not required to share things...

Hi, I configured the info on URL, keywords and greetings and once I am on my main page I am able to check them. But IF i copy and paste my domain on Facebook, the askbot's title and descriptions are displayed. I've tried to search for this content on the html on my website, but I couldn't find it. AFAIK, the title and description should come from the metatags on my html, but these look good. Anyone could explain why do I get the default values instead of my custom values?

I had configured Askbot wrong, I had this property empty "Base URL for your Q&A forum"

Hi Doug, Did you set the settings in your settings.py? Could you please post it here? (Please, if you want to add something to your question, edit it. If you post as an answer, it may happen that we do not read it. The idea of a Q&A website is that all information you have is concentrated on your "question post" ;) ) btw: you can test the email by using the feedback form :)

@coldsystem you do not need to change anything on your setting.py. Once you add the facebook keys in your settings page, the FB logo will appear automatically ;)

I found many errors when migrating on Heroku. Unfortunately I was not able to solve them (yet). But the website runs OK even with these...

Hi, I am trying to integrate FB login into my Askbot website. I configured everything in my website, but once I click on facebook's image I am redirected to a FB page that says that there was an error.

Looking at the url, I found this:

redirect_uri=%2Faccount%2Fsignin%2Fcomplete-oauth2%2F&

if I change it to

redirect_uri=MYDOMAIN%2Faccount%2Fsignin%2Fcomplete-oauth2%2F& it works.

Did I configure FB wrong or is it an issue?

Im having problems to set it up. Heroku is saying that it can^t find the settings.py file :(
